Ping List
We will custom load in list of sites your website will ‘ping’ to every time you update it. This means the search engine robots are instantly informed that you have made a change to your site and come hurrying back to see for themselves and re-spider your site. This results in your latest page or post getting ‘indexed’ in the search results fast – often within hours!
Support
You’ll get FREE training to help you learn to create posts and update your site in the future.
FREE hosting – and email!
Hosting can be a minefield of complexity, especially if you have partially tried to set this up yourself. If you have hosting set up, I may be able to use it, but only if it has the following:
What you need is that your hosting supports unlimited addon domains (in case you want to add more websites) – is affordable, offers great support, has an option for daily backups of your site, unlimited email accounts included, 99.9 percent uptime – and something called C-Panel. The server should also be LAMP which means Linux/Apache/MySQL/PhP.
If your current hosting does not include all of the above, you will have to change hosting.
To do this, log in to your name server and point the DNS of the URL I will be building the site on, to:
ns1.pipedns.com
ns2. pipedns.com
ns3.pipedns.com
If you want me to set up the whole thing that’s fine too – I will just need the login to your Name Registrar.
If all of the above makes you go ‘arrrgh!’ – don’t panic, I can just set it all up for you. I am just really writing this for clients that might already have hosting.
More about Plugins
One of the coolest things about WordPress is the level of customization available with add ons, or ‘plug ins’. I have, through experience, found the best plugins for functionality, seo and security. – whether that be managing your video, audio, images, spam, or creating a contact page, a survey, forms, tables – shopping carts, paypal integation – you name it!
